As a rising junior, he attended a leadership conference which challenged him to complete a service project back at home. When seeing that his peers were focusing on their local communities, Zack wanted to look global and introduced a Nothing but Nets fundraiser at his church basketball league in 2009. Their first fundraiser raised nearly $6,000 after Zack gave multiple devotions to families about malaria. He continued spreading the word at his high school and even though he is now a sophomore at James Madison University now, he is still looking to raise nets for children across the globe. Partnered with his church basketball league, Zack has helped raise over $17,000!
